I am currently working on the following musical projects: 

Recordings of Justin Ralls’ Spirit-Sign and Poul Ruders’ Reveille-Retraite. Justin, double NEA-winning composer and formidable musical presence in the Pacific Northwest, has written many pieces for me inspired by nature, environmentalism, and social impact. 

Poul Ruders, Grammy-winning Danish composer of international repute, has also become a collaborator as we work to enhance his solo trumpet work for an album project I’m beginning mid-2025.  You can hear the first movement of his piece for solo trumpet, Reveille-Retraite, (the “Reveille” movement) below.

Anamnesis, Aaron Kahn and Austin Kourakin’s experimental sound healing and sound journeying group, has brought into the fold the virtuoso British-born pianist Sequoia. “Kairos” is an Ancient Greek spiritual/philosophic concept that refers to “a propitious moment that God chooses to act.” This album is a sonic adventure into a land of completely improvised soundscapes, blending the ethereal beauty of electronic synths with soulful trumpeting and piano playing.”
